{"id":2623,"date":"2019-08-26T12:23:07","date_gmt":"2019-08-26T10:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dazzlepop.net\/site\/?p=2623"},"modified":"2019-09-07T11:55:07","modified_gmt":"2019-09-07T09:55:07","slug":"instagram-is-working-on-layouts-for-stories-new-boomerangs-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dazzlepop.net\/site\/instagram-is-working-on-layouts-for-stories-new-boomerangs-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Instagram is working on layouts for stories, New boomerangs, more"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align:center\"><\/div>\n<p>Instagram has been found testing several upgrades to stories that include a layout mode, new boomerangs, and redesigned icons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This test was discovered by reverse engineering expert Jane Manchun Wong, whose track record for finding unreleased features is second-to-none.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the screenshot Wong shared on Twitter you can see the new icons and several of the layout options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Layout Mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new layout mode for stories works similar to Instagram\u2019s Layouts app, which allows users to create photo collages and share them on their main feed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Layouts for stories lets users create collages either by taking photos with the stories camera or uploading photos from their camera roll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">New Boomerangs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Instagram is testing new types of boomerangs, giving users 5 more options to choose from. Quite a step up from the current one-size-fits-all boomerang mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After recording a boomerang, users can set it to do different things at the end of each loop like pause or wiggle.
