Boring!<\/p>\n<p>But how do you start to<strong>\u00a0grow and nourish<\/strong>\u00a0your creative bug again?<\/p>\n<p>When<strong>\u00a0trying to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/mp\/6-keys-improving-teams-customer-service-skills\/\">improve<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0your creativity you apply (what I call) Magician\u2019s Hat Thinking.\u00a0<strong>Magician\u2019s Hat Thinking<\/strong>\u00a0is when the information you have may not be what it seems.\u00a0<strong>It\u2019s learning how to turn\u00a0<\/strong>information into inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>For example right now I\u2019m<strong>\u00a0sat in a library<\/strong>\u00a0writing this post for you. Once\u00a0<strong>I\u2019m finished how can<\/strong>\u00a0I decide what to write next? I need\u00a0<strong>creativity and inspiration<\/strong>\u00a0right now for my next post!<\/p>\n<p><strong>I can hear or see\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cars speeding past outside<\/li>\n<li>Stressed out parents chasing their children around the library<\/li>\n<li>A staff member, who looks frustrated, announces she is on lunch and marches outside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>So how can<\/strong>\u00a0I turn this information into inspiration?<\/p>\n<p>Speeding cars, stressed out<strong>\u00a0parent and someone<\/strong>\u00a0desperate for a lunch break?<\/p>\n<p>I think of one word\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Busy<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 people leading busy lifestyles.<\/p>\n<p>This is why<strong>\u00a0I suggest writing down<\/strong>\u00a0everything that pops into your head. Not everything\u00a0<strong>you write down can<\/strong>\u00a0be used and that\u2019s ok. Save it for another day or\u00a0<strong>some ideas are only destine<\/strong>\u00a0for the bin.<\/p>\n<p>My\u00a0<strong>point is if you listen<\/strong>\u00a0hard enough your creativity speaks to you.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s get started on 7 easy ways to think\u00a0\u00a0<strong>creatively for your business.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindtools.com\/brainstm.html\"><b>Brainstorm<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Get a pen and paper and write down whatever comes into your head. Think and write without\u00a0<strong>restrictions<\/strong>. Don\u2019t sit down and write possible business ideas or plans.<strong>\u00a0As you see from my example<\/strong>, random words can creative ideas. You can<strong>\u00a0write down<\/strong>\u00a0feelings,<strong>\u00a0items or problems<\/strong>. There are no rules here. Let loose!<\/p>\n<h3><b>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>Experience Happy Things<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Start to experience the things in\u00a0<strong>life that make you feel<\/strong>\u00a0happy and make you smile. When you\u2019re happy,\u00a0<strong>you\u2019re positive<\/strong>\u00a0and when\u00a0<strong>you\u2019re feeling positive<\/strong>\u00a0it improves your creativity.<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019re doing what you love your<strong>\u00a0creativity is allowed<\/strong>\u00a0to flow freely and helps you to channel\u00a0<strong>into new ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<b>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>Build your Confidence<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>More confidence will mean you start to value and appreciate your ideas. They usually say what they\u2019re thinking and their behavior is based on instinct. They are brilliant at giving organic\u00a0<strong>ideas without even trying.<\/strong>\u00a0I\u2019ve managed to gain some\u00a0<strong>of my best ideas<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>watching my 4 year old interact with<\/strong>\u00a0other children, in various situations and asking me LOTS of questions.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<b>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>Pen and Paper<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Keep and\u00a0<strong>pen and paper close<\/strong>\u00a0and always note what comes<strong>\u00a0into your head.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>Negativity<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Negativity and\u00a0<strong>criticism kills creativity.<\/strong>\u00a0Building your creative thoughts has to be\u00a0<strong>practiced and gradually<\/strong>made stronger.\u00a0<strong>Don\u2019t get frustrated and<\/strong>\u00a0give up because you\u2019re struggling with\u00a0<strong>ideas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Creativity must flow<strong>\u00a0and can\u2019t be forced<\/strong>\u00a0out with anger and<strong>\u00a0frustration. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><b>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><b>\u00a0Meditate<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Meditation clears\u00a0<strong>the mind of daily, negative,<\/strong>\u00a0stressful thoughts.
