Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, and Messenger experienced major outages in various parts of the world on Thursday, November 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That means many were left without the ability to share their Thanksgiving festivities on the two largest social networks. At the time of this writing, the problem still persists as users continue to report intermittent outages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instagram <\/a>has acknowledged the outage via its Twitter <\/a>account, while noting its working to resolve the problem quickly. Presumably, the company will provide another update when there\u2019s more information to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing Facebook\u2019s family of apps, including Instagram. We\u2019re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible. #InstagramDown<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to DownDetector<\/a>, only parts of USA are affected by the outage. Central Europe appears to be impacted the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many attempting to share Thanksgiving<\/a> posts on Facebook on Thursday morning, it seemed the social network was not in the holiday mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thousands of users complained about issues with Facebook and its subsidiary Instagram, citing problems with sharing posts and sending messages, according to Down Detector, a website<\/a> that tracks such outages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With error messages from Hanoi to Portland, the services seem to be affected across the world<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
