But we hope our fifth annual Under 30 Europe list delivers a much needed dose of optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here we highlight the young visionary leaders brashly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dazzlepop.net\/site\/category\/business\/\">reinventing business<\/a> and society. From a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/rens-original\/#5581b22d59d8\">Finnish duo<\/a>\u00a0turning used coffee beans into sneakers to a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/lightyear\/\">Dutch team<\/a>\u00a0designing solar powered cars, the ingenuity and creativity Europe\u2019s young entrepreneurs indicates that the best just might be yet to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s list is the result of thousands of international nominations, months of investigative reporting and the seal of approval from our panel of blue ribbon judges. The result: 300 young visionaries boldly redefining ten industries across 32 countries (plus those immigrating from 30 non-European countries).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/specials-images.forbesimg.com\/imageserve\/5e701841aa542800075a16d4\/960x0.jpg?fit=scale\" alt=\"Meet The Forbes Under 30 Europe Class Of 2020\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some might be familiar faces, like 27-year-old\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/ncuti-gatwa\/?list=30under30-europe-entertainment#3ef6c26654be\">Ncuti Gatwa<\/a>. The Rwandan-born Scottish actor rocketed to prominence in his role as Eric Effiong in Netflix\u2019s \u2018Sex Education,\u2019 a drama that chronicles high schoolers\u2019 coming-of-age mishaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gatwa has been praised for his honest portrayal of a gay black teenager, which has given visibility to an underrepresented demographic. Additionally, many suspect the show has made an off-screen impact: the Welsh government recently made sex education compulsory (the show primarily films in Wales).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others might be less familiar. Though few may know his name, 29-year-old CEO\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/hanno-renner\/?list=30under30-europe-technology#14aac4cf3219\">Hanno Renner<\/a>\u00a0cofounded one of Europe\u2019s fastest growing startups Personio. The Munich-based entrepreneur has raised $130 million from the likes of Lightspeed and Index Ventures to helps startups and SMEs better compete for top talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The human resource platform eliminates administrative tasks (which take up an estimated 42% of an HR professional\u2019s job) so that they can focus on what really matters: the humans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are just a few of the inspiring individuals that you can find on this year\u2019s list.
