Manufacturing is the basis for human existence. Every existence undergoes an evolution along with a revolution. There has been much advancement in manufacturing, which has resulted in evolution within the industry. Manufacturing has been one of the global evolutions<\/a> in each and every part of the world. Manufacturing has led to mobility, and mobility has led to true progress for all nations. Today, every nation is heavily dependent on this global evolution of manufacturing. Manufacturing competitiveness has been widely spoken about, both locally and globally. It has been a key topic that many have associated with issues such as climate change<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any evolution is only possible with the help of certain elements. Manufacturing is based upon the foundation of the M-M-M cycle: man, machine and material. With time, the successors of periodic and sustainable innovation have also changed. Manufacturing has also witnessed its own changing successors of innovation that have led to a positive transformation within the industry. One of the successors that has created a transformation is the\u00a0cognitive bot. I believe cognitive bots will be the next generation of\u00a0cobots<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The field of manufacturing has recently drawn more attention for its localization potential<\/a> as opposed to the globalized supply chain. Localizing the manufacturing cycle has been a key principle of every company I’ve worked with. The elements that have made localization possible are also changing over time. In the era of early transformation, technology was a vital element in helping companies achieve the localization of manufacturing. After the early transformation era and the current era of disruption, talent and transportation have also been considered key parts of the manufacturing evolution. Smart factories have taken a lot of challenges into account that have further led to the development of smart solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Companies can only realize the true potential of smart solutions with the help of self-aware talent and smart supply chains<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
