In fact, any digital marketing strategy can be scaled, depending on the budget size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lyfemarketing.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/effective-social-media-marketing-strategy.jpg\" alt=\"How to get digital marketing right\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As a digital marketing lead generator in my&nbsp;chosen field of cosmetic and plastic surgeons, I have seen the benefits of developing a sound digital marketing strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s have a look at some of the ways businesses can get the most out of the online space, and why it is vital that they do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>That\u2019s where the customers are<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest reason why all of this is important is simply the fact that your potential customers are online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of February 2019, pre-COVID,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.webalive.com.au\/ecommerce-statistics-australia\/#:~:text=As%20of%20February%202019%2C%2080.8,online%20will%20be%2022.0%20million.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">80.8%<\/a>&nbsp;of people in Australia were shopping online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Projections for 2021 indicate that e-commerce will only become more popular, with 85.2% of the population set to shop online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In raw numbers, this is 22 million Australians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It would be near-insane if you were to ignore that many shoppers, wouldn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consumers are online a lot, be it social media, search engines or watching videos for entertainment.
